Pharmacology
Welcome to the Pharmacology Part One pages. From here you will be able to access all sorts of Pharmacology information to help you with your study.
The information on this site has come from other candidates just like you !! It is for students by students, with the information being moderated by FACEM's. I will also be trying to get links and info from my contacts in both New Zealand and Australia.
If you want to contribute please contact... Paul Quigley DEMT Wellington Send text as Word documents or plain text, images as JPEG's or GIF's. Presentation can be sent to me in Power Point format.

Extra web based resources.
These are few links that are quite useful to do on-line exams etc.
Tutorial Times
Part One tutorials are on WEDNESDAY afternoons from 1500 - 1630 hr.

FACT sheets
This is very experimental. I apologise if this does not always work. The majority of these files are in WORD .doc format. On clicking they will usually download direct to your computer. No effort has been made to reformat them or "tidy" them up, that can be your job ! As aides to memory it is much better if you format them yourselves. Hand written sheets are in .pdf format.
- Beta Blockers
- Glycosides
- Acetylcholine like drugs
- General Anaesthetics
- Local Anaesthetics
- Rational Dosing
- Muscle Relaxants
- Sedatives
- Anticonvulsants
- Biotransformation
